DO NOT BE DECEIVED!

One fast-rising trend in the world today is being misled and so many children of God have been held captive this way.  Conveniently copying self-imposed doctrine made by men, and misinterpreted information and revelation, all these has kept a lot of people in darkness.

Being misled is a PLAGUE, it is a widespread affliction and afflicted believers are continually treading on the path of error and disobedience. Neglecting and disrespecting the sacred office created by God and the people ordained to govern those offices such as politics is an example of treading the wrong path.

The Bible says when the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice, and for this reason, God set up a government as seen in Romans 13. Everyone must be under the authority God has ordained and whosoever resists shall receive to themselves damnation.

Unfortunately, the reality of today is that majority of believers tag the process of attaining positions, offices, and authority, especially politics as a dirty game.

Politicians or intending politicians are stereotyped as backsliders, frauds, and sinners. In a bid to avoid name tags like these, men and women that have been ordained by God to grace these positions have completely shy away from such duties.

Here is a big question lingering through my mind “will the process to achieve something mandated by God be dirty”?

The short and simple answer is NO.

God in his infinite wisdom has set up positions according to scriptural documentation, to govern nations and the earth and to provide leadership. He would never command these authorities for the ungodly people to rule the righteous.

So dear friends, why do you think or agree with false teachings that claim politics is a dirty game? The concept of politics being a dirty game can be likened to believing that the righteous do not stand a chance of inheriting the kingdom of God. But we all know this isn’t true.

In Proverb 29:2, the Bible clearly says that “when the righteous are ruling, there will be joy”. This passage is one of the ways God interprets the positions he has created is the birthright of a believer.

In the first book of Corinthians 6:9, the bible said the ungodly will not inherit God’s kingdom. Let us not be deceived, neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, drunkards, extortioners, and so on. These are people that will not inherit God’s kingdom.

Dear friends, ask yourself “will God allow such people to rule over the righteous?

The authority God has set up cannot be vacant, as someone has to claim the power to decide and manage affairs irrespective of his beliefs or doctrines. This is why non-believers now dominate the leadership and government sectors because we as believers have refused to rise to the challenge to claim what is rightfully ours.

Before this segment comes to an end, I like to stress this point “Politics is not and can never be a dirty game“.

It is rather a game of interest and it is not for backsliders but for the righteous.

Remember that if any sinner comes to God and allows themselves to be washed by the blood of Jesus Christ, their services in the ministry as politicians will be accepted by God.

In conclusion, we as believers must reorient ourselves and search the scriptures properly to see God’s stance concerning governance, public service, and politics. As this is the process of electing who sits on the throne of authority in a nation or sector to lead God’s people.

Dear friends, thank you for reading and I urge you to share these newly inquired insights with your friends and family. One more thing, never allow other people’s opinions on certain subjects to rub off on you and the ministry God has ordained for you.

Nothing improves without leadership.

We find ourselves in a world that solidly depends on leadership to create a path and provide direction for almost everything.

No nation arrives where they are without leadership. And no nation will get to where they are going without leadership.

AFTER RIGHTEOUSNESS, WHAT NEXT?

In our last conversation, we see righteousness as a non-negotiable quality of transformational or visionary leaders, similar to what we will be discussing today. Transformational or visionary leaders view their impact beyond their time in office or lifetime, and their decisions are focused on future generations.
Today, we will look at EMPAHTY as a non-negotiable quality of a leader. What is empathy?
