Hey there! When you think of leaders, who comes to mind?
For me, leaders are those dope folks who have the power to make others follow their lead and copy their amazing lifestyles. Straight up, leaders have intense influence!
Check this out, in the scriptures in 1 Corinthians 11:1, Paul was dropping some truth bombs on the Corinthians. He encouraged them to imitate him as he imitates Jesus Christ. Paul was the real deal, living his life like a boss. His general being and lifestyle were beyond reproach. And let’s not forget about Samuel, another real leader. In 1 Samuel 2:2-3, he stood tall in front of the Israelites, challenging them with his honest, righteous, and full-of-integrity life. Then he told their leaders to follow in footsteps. Samuel didn’t cheat or deceive anyone and expected the same from his crew.
Remember what Paul said? “Follow me as I follow Christ.” Now, let’s talk about Jesus, the ULTIMATE BOSS. He was righteous, man. The Scripture says, “Righteousness lifts a nation, and when good people are in charge, everyone’s rejoicing .” So, righteousness isn’t just some fancy word from a religious perspective- it’s about being an inspiration to others in all areas of life and living right.
When Paul was talking to Timothy, he spilled the tea on what it takes to lead, whether you’re in a church office or any other real-world gig like politics, business, education, or law. In 1 Timothy 3:11-9, Paul summed it up for us. Check it: he outlined that leaders have to be blameless, well-behaved, not money-hungry, not looking for fights, not greedy, and certainly not two-faced. Boom! Being a righteous leader means having a character that brings justice, inspires others, and sets the whole crew on the path to an epic life.
So, my friends, here’s the deal: whether you’re already leading or dreaming of it, your character development is a major project. It’s all about being a legitimate inspiration for future generations. So step up, embrace your influence, and lead like a boss!
