Our greatness in life is the result or reward from the problems we identified and solved.
For you to able to identify problem, you must be enlighten (knowledgeable) with good understanding (Eph. 1:18 -19) and to solve the problem identified, you must been taught and improve on your skill. These are the primary ingredient for greatness and success in life, and he are gotten from education. We can boldly say here that the easiest way to become great in life is through education as it is written, study to show yourself approved, a work man need not to be ashamed but rightly divide the word of truth. The universal raw material for successful life and becoming great comes from education. Either formal or informal.
What is education? Education is the process of teaching, training and learning especially in schools or colleges to improve knowledge and develop skill and talent.
Friends, for us to acquire skills, develop our talents or improve our knowledge, we need humility. Humility is the bedrock of learning. Your talents can give you money and make you rich but it takes only education to sustain it.
What is Humility? The word humility comes from the word humble, it means ; it is the quality of not thinking that you are better than other people, it is the quality of being humble. – to be humble means you are not proud to ask for something, question or admits your wrong, you don’t know something but willing to apologies for your wrong and ready to learn about things you don’t know. For it is written, God will exalt the humble and resist the proud, God naturally block the proud and disgrace them when they think they have arrived.
To become great and successful in life, you must have a good vision.
What is vision? Vision is painting a picture of the future you want and committing it in the hands of God to actualize it, for it is written, I will give you everything your eyes can see and you cannot see beyond what you are thinking of because as a man think so he is we are all products of our thoughts. Also, our thinking is largely depends on what we are expose to and it is only what we think about we can improve on or provide solution to which will determine how successful we will be in life and how relevance we will be. Note: not all successful people are relevance but all humble successful people are relevance.
Let revisit our open phrase, our greatness depends on the problem we can solve. Rom. 8:19; for the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly wait for the revealing of the sons of God. What that means is that our world, nation, community and families are all waiting for our manifestation, i.e. for us to create a vision that will alleviate them from poverty, pains, suffering and give them peace. This problem they have not be able to solve for themselves that makes them to be where they are in life. Why? Because the creation itself was subjected to futility not willingly but because of him who subjected it in hope.
What is futility? The word futility comes from futile. It means having no purpose since there is no chance for success. Why? Because the world has divert our attention from education, learning and choked the virtue of humility from us. This is why we believe in realstar that the only person that has no chance to succeed is a person who refuse to study, such person has no bright future, even God encourage us to study until we are approved. Friends, if we don’t take our studies serious, we will be ashamed when we see our mates. Note: arroganism is the key to poverty because it will prevent you from learning.
Friends, everyone on earth has equal opportunity to be rich, wealthy or poor, it all depend on the choice we make. Let look at this phrase again, the creation was subjected to futility which come from futile that mean having no purpose. This make everyone on earth to have reason not to create vision for himself. It is the futility of the world that delivered every creation under the bondage of corruption of all kinds. This corruption is what diverts the human original purpose of something to selfish purpose and ambition.
Below are things that can divert our attention
- Immorality: Fornication, Adultery,
- Contention: Anger, Strife
- Envy, Jealousies, Hatred
- Evil communication and association
This things can easily divert our attention from learning and without proper education, there is no way we can truly be successful, rich in life, in that case, the expectation of the whole world, nation, community and families toward us will be cut short.
