STEPS TOWARD A NEW NIGERIA

The fulfillment of every prophecy or promise of God is in obedience to the voice of God. (Word of God)

Disobedience, ignorance and bad attitude will prolong the fulfillment of prophecy for individual, family or a Nation.

Like we were told of Pa Elton Sydney Grandville’s prophecy for Nigeria in 1986, I quote, “that Nigeria and Nigerians will be known all over the world for corruption. Your name Nigeria will stink for corruption but after a while, a new phase will come; a phase of Righteousness, people from the nations of the earth will hold Nigerians and say we want to follow you to your nation to go learn righteousness”

This is the corruption we are fighting today, everywhere, in  families, communities, organizations both locally and international..

Recall there are things to be done for every prophecy to come to pass, so God with his infinite mercy has given us his standard to see the fulfillment of his word through his servant Pa Elton

The first step in seeing the prophecy coming to pass is when it becomes real in the heart of men, and it is spoken/discuss with the lip of men. Deut. 11:19, You shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up

Joel 1:3, Tell your children about it, Let your children tell their children, And their children another generation.

But in our own case, we were not told of this Pa Elton’s prophecy, so we didn’t keep this word of God in our door post. I can categorically tell you over 50% of believers in our Nation are not aware of what God says about us, so who then can remind us what God says concerning our Nation Nigeria?

Paul told Timothy to wage war to see the prophecy come to pass 1 Tim 1:18, This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare,

The Bible says tell it to your children and children’s children – who is blowing this trumpet of truth in our Nation as National prophet today?

What we have presently in our Nation are denominational or local assembly prophets who are driven by their work and assignments.

Recall the Bible says in Zechariah 6:12 – behold the man whose name is the branch, he will build the temple of the Lord – and scripture says Jesus is the vine, we are the branches John 15:5, so this directly put the responsibilities of building our nation upon us  as believers because it is only a nation that is at peace that can build a temple that will be admired, Recall God says we should not forget to pray for the peace of our land so we can have a nation where we can live peaceable Ps 126:6.

This is why we cannot ignored God’s word and counsel for us to see New Nigeria in Zech 7:8-10, for the word of God says that, everyone of us should endeavor to  execute true justice, show mercy and compassion, we should not oppress ourselves, the widows, the fatherless, the strangers or the poor. Lastly, we should not plan evil in our hearts against our brothers.

Friends, if we all should take this counsel and determine to make our Nation great, not working to make a name, I tell you,  we will seek knowledge and in no time our Nation will become the center of good attraction to the entire world as God’s word over the Nation has been prophesied by Pa Elton will come to pass. Zech 8:22, yes, many peoples and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, And to pray before the LORD.’

Then, Nigeria will become the city of truth, a blessing among Nations. Praise God.

Nothing improves without leadership.

We find ourselves in a world that solidly depends on leadership to create a path and provide direction for almost everything.

No nation arrives where they are without leadership. And no nation will get to where they are going without leadership.

AFTER RIGHTEOUSNESS, WHAT NEXT?

In our last conversation, we see righteousness as a non-negotiable quality of transformational or visionary leaders, similar to what we will be discussing today. Transformational or visionary leaders view their impact beyond their time in office or lifetime, and their decisions are focused on future generations.
Today, we will look at EMPAHTY as a non-negotiable quality of a leader. What is empathy?
